As a teacher I learned some valuable lessons!

The things I learned from your children was priceless. A room full of altruistic students eager to learn made me want to do the very best I could to help them. I am a much better person because of it.

I learned who the most valuable person in the room is. There is not one. We all have the same value. The moment you start to think that you are more valuable than someone you start to treat them differently. Our nation is based on this principle “all created equal”.

I learned who the best looking person in the room is. The one with the best character. We all get a covering from our biological parents that we did not pick and it should be used for identification only. The covering wears out but a character that is worked on every day is a joy to behold.

I learned that you only need one classroom rule. You are not allowed to keep anyone from learning.

If you select me to be your representative on the City Council be assured that I will be bringing these values and perspectives with me.
